To achieve our mission, the SRM Foundation is committed to supporting initiatives across various different areas.
Advocacy & Government Policy
- Work towards reducing greenhouse gas emissions through policy advocacy.
- Promote corporate accountability for hydrocarbon governance, including offsetting existing carbon footprints.
Research & Innovation
- Support research and innovation at higher-education institutions to enhance the capacity and skillsets required for a successful energy transition.
Socially Just Transition
- Advocate for socially just energy transition that protects both the land and the rights of existing workforces.
- Create opportunities for developing skillsets needed for effective climate change mitigation.
Education & Awareness
- Raise awareness among policymakers and the general public about the benefits of a clean economic system.
Grant initiatives
Our grants will encompass, but not be limited to, the following initiatives:
Support the decarbonisation of existing infrastructure.
Contribute to carbon offsetting through woodland creation planting.
Support higher-education institutions in energy transition research and innovation.
Back initiatives related to Carbon Capture and Storage (CCS) and renewable energy technologies for sector-specific use.
Promote investment in energy transition strategies that consider stakeholder interests.
Endorse initiatives from organisations sharing common energy transition goals for a more extensive and lasting impact.
